So its once again... Been forever! We are now 37 weeks and going strong!
At our 36 week appointment, we had a vaginal exam and were told we were dilated 0cm, had
No effacement and baby was still high. This week, we had similar news, but she's at -2 station. We had a scan for weight. Rylee is about 7lbs and she will be born via C-Section on June 1!!! The doctor is afraid she is going to be too large for my pelvis by the time she gets to 40 weeks plus, so se will be born at 39 weeks,1 day.
Ok- so to backtrack a bit...
Baby shower was April 17th amd was hosted by my sister, April and sister in law, Sara! There were lots of people there, my Mom and Dad, Both my Grandmas, Grampie, Matt's Mom, Matt's Step Mom, our fathers, Jason, Sara, Stella, Lisa G., Lisa C., Christine, Maureen, some of Daniel's sisters, Jill, Kiersten, Candy, Miss Deb, Aunt Denise and Kim, Aunt Jyl, Aunt Honey, Jeannie, Jenn, Jayme, Loryn, Aunt Beth, Aunt Jerilyn, Bonnie and Rebecca, Alicia, Hannah, McKenna, Morgan and obviously April, Matt and I!
We received so many gifts!! We were so thankful (and still are) to everyone and to our families for beig so generous!! I'm not sure what we would have done without everyone!! It was a beautiful day and a wonderful surprise!
Nothing spectacular happened after that, weeks 33-35 were pretty normal! I don't sleep well at all these days, but who does! I'm up to 180lbs and have few stretch marks, so I think I'm doing pretty good! I have vaginal or maybe cervical (its all down below) spasms regularly and seem to make no progress! Braxton Hicks are no stranger, but they seem to have slowed down, which I do not like. I can not wait to meet her and I spend a lot of time imagining what she will look like or be like or what motherhood will be like! My sister hosted Mother's Day, and included me in that celebration! It was nice! Oh, I did have, at 35 weeks, false labor! For about 7 hours I had contractions 7-15 min apart, lasting 30-45 seconds each!
So now at 37 weeks, 3 days I am hoping to start making progress, and by Wednesday at my next appointment, the Doctor can give me some news! Then, one week later, my baby girl will be in my arms!!i can not believe we have ONE appointment left!!!
I'm excited to meet the Princess!!! 12 days!!!!

6 Weeks behind!!!
Dear Bloggers. I have a confession. Its been 6 weeks since my last post!!
Much has happened in the past 6 weeks. Lets start at 25 Weeks...
As already posted- I spent the early part of week 25 in North Carolina. The latter part of the week I was involved in a Dinner to support a local non profit. After the set up and organization for the days events were over, my family and some friends and I enjoyed the dinner and the visiting with other people we had not seen since last years event.
The 28th week was an exciting one. It started off by meeting the pediatrician. Happy St. Patty's day this week... and a bittersweet March 18th- My Great Grandmothers birthday brought me to the cemetery to give her flowers... its been over a year since her passing and I wanted to show her that despite her death- what would have been her 93rd birthday was still special. I cried the whole time- and told her everything there was to know about my pregnancy and her Great Great Granddaughter!! I believe that she had a little something to do with my getting pregnant... Looking down from above... On this day- I also received a call from Amber!! Her water broke!! Yay!! Aubrey Leigh is on her way!! 10:31am on Saturday- March 19th- Aubrey arrived at a whopping 8lbs and 20 inches!! Congrats Amber and Jasmon!! Also- new sisters for us! Mom and Daniels hard work at becoming Foster Parents has payed off! 2 Little girls were placed with them! I spent part of the next week with Mom, Daniel and the girls.

On Feb 28th- My paternal Grandparents celebrated 51 years of Marriage! Congrats to them!!
March 1st brought on 26 Weeks... I didn't do much this week- Friday night I spent in the ER/PHC maternity dept due to contractions caused by dehydration... but the next day I was up and about... I met a sleepy-cute little boy- Mr. Grayson and chatted with an old high school friend (His Mommy) for a while! Mr. Grayson was 7 weeks old at the time- and I was happy to meet him!! Had a lot of rain in a little bit of time this week too... Original massage appt was pushed back a week due to flooding everywhere!!
27 Weeks was uneventful... March 11th I had a OB checkup- and the doctor was happy. Healthy active baby!! I gained 5-6 pounds since the last appointment. No sign of contractions I had caused any effect on my cervix. Next appointment March 30th!! 12th and 13th we spent at Mom and Daniels. So happy to have Rita's again!! Very tired all weekend! Didn't sleep well. Picked out and Ordered the crib!!!! Can't wait to post a picture of it in the nursery! I enjoyed a massage this week- and made an appointment for another in April.

29 Weeks... We planned to go on a trip this particular weekend... but I was not feeling it!! Ended up wishing we had! Saturday I broke my 3rd metatarsal in my foot and spend the afternoon in the ER! The next day- we had our maternity photo shoot with Lindsay! Great! The photo shoot went great! I have the proofs- but I can't wait to see the finished products after editing!!
30 Week OB appointment as well as the Orthopedic foot specialist fell on the 30th of March! Happy Birthday to my cousin Taylor! He's 15 now!! Gained another 4 pounds! (Baby is up to 3lbs!!) Up 21lbs since 20 weeks- but only 11 if you don't count the 10 I lost and gained back... 3D/4D ultrasound #2 at A Tiny Perspective went Great on April 2nd... and then we spent the evening with Dad and Sheri... Dinner at Leventi's and then a long trip home. Arrived home about midnight!! Next Doctor appointment will be April 14th!! Every 2 weeks from here on out!!!

25 Weeks!!
Yay! 25 Weeks is here! I left my belly button in North Carolina this weekend. Its officially- GONE! lol.. it has not popped out yet, but it has flattened out.
I had a wonderful time in NC for my best friends baby shower. Knowing her baby girl is 10 weeks ahead of mine, gives me somethings to look forward to- such as- when she delivers- I only have 10 weeks left!! Her baby shower was beautiful- this really hits me when I think that my shower could be just around the corner! =)
I can not wait to meet Miss Aubrey! Aubrey Carpenter. Sounds like an American Idol top 10 name doesn't it? She is going to be so beautiful!!
I have a feeling that I will be seeing some stretch marks soon. I've started putting Vitamin E oil on multiple times daily, so I hope that helps, if not for the stretch marks but for the itchy tight skin! I added it today to my bath water so my whole body got a nice dose!!
I've only got 15 weeks left! I can't believe it! My appetite has grown significantly, and without getting on a scale I can assure you I've gained at least another 5 pounds, putting me up to 15lb's total (but thats only 5lbs heavier then my pre-pregnancy weight) I've made up for lost time I guess...lol... lets hope I can gain 1lb a week from here on out! =)
We see Miss Rylee moving a lot these days, and I feel her almost constantly. I did find out she does not like to fly. Well- the take off and flight is okay, but she is not a fan of the decent and landing (and I don't blame her.) She loves it when I am in the tub, and I've video recorded her.
I've still got a good amount of energy, but I'm lacking the drive to do much, and I'm noticing the energy drop. I can not do much of what I want to these days because setting up the nursery involves moving the furniture that is already in there out- and I can't do it- and I don't have a crib yet to put in there. I've got a mattress and a changing table! I purchased the switch place cover- and installed it- I'm excited to hang her name letters- but we have to get the twin bed out so I can put them where I want them. The registries are finished and awaiting purchases!! I found a stroller that I loved- well- I loved everything about it but the color- which was very neutral and it was fine- but I would have preferred more girlie. Well- at babies r us in Concord, NC- I saw my stroller- in a black and purple pattern- Came home, looked it up and its new!! Good bye Green- Hello Purple!! =) Being that Rylee may be our only child- I have no problem doing Girlie Girlie with her registry!!
Think I am going to take a nap for a bit- still tired from yesterdays airport ordeal and flying! <3
...till next time...

24 Weeks...
111 days to go!! Whew! I can't believe it! I know I've said that 100 times but I really can't!
The rounding of my belly has really hit Matt, and he is now worried that we have so much to do and so little time.
We recently had a 3D/4D ultrasound and it was amazing! The Little Princess spent most of her time with her face planted in her placenta. She really did not want to move! After a little coaxing with Hershey Kisses, Orange Juice and turning me on my side, she finally appeared! She's beautiful! (She looks like her Mommy if I say so myself!!)
The little lady is still very active, and I hear its just the beginning! From 24-28 weeks is the most active time!
We did find out that she is (or at least was) in the vertex position (head down) and as of now, face up, which would be good for the ultrasound, if her placenta was not anterior (in the front) but not for delivery.
My wedding rings no longer fit, and my wonderful husband bought me a white gold band to wear until my swelling goes down. It is 2 sizes bigger then my wedding set, but it fits comfortably and I still have 16 weeks to swell!!
This is going to be a big week for Rylee and I, as we are going on our first flight! We are going to Miss Amber's baby shower in North Carolina! Hopefully we can get some belly shots of the two of us, it will be like Rylee and Aubrey's first meeting! I am very excited.
Not sure if I had mentioned previously about my weight gain- but I have currently gained about 10 pounds. (its been a few days since my last appointment) If I keep eating this way, I hope to gain about 1lb a week from here on out- maybe 1.5lbs a week, and that will bring me to about 25lbs by the end of the pregnancy.

I can not express how much I already love The Little Princess. She amazes me and gives me such joy, and she is not even here yet!! <3 I love you Rylee Anne!

23 Weeks... almost!
Tomorrow marks 23 Weeks! It's getting harder and harder not to buy things for our little princess. My mother would be pretty upset with me if I told her I bought stuff for her. My mother in law has some things for her, and she bought her a Swarovski Bunny. I can't wait to get the nursery set up. 17 Weeks until she gets here, and I feel a sense of urgency to get things set up and organized. I have her things hanging in the closet, but they still have to be washed, and tags removed. Socks, Bibs, Hats, and some other things are in the drawers, in the dresser that probably will not be staying once we get one that matches the crib and changer we have registered for.
Restricted Activity is not my favorite thing... but I've gained 3 pounds (according to my scale) and still have till Friday to gain before my weight check. Our 3D/4D ultrasound is on Saturday, and we are heading to NJ to celebrate the 91st birthday of Miss Stella!! I can't wait to see everyone! I'm finally showing and this will probably be the last time they see us until the baby shower.
I'm so very tired these days. I think the 3rd trimester tired has kicked in!
Until next time!

to be our little Strawbaby!!
Half Baked!!!
Today we are 20 weeks and 4 days! Approx 137 days until she arrives!! Hopefully its more like 130 days...June 1st would be a nice day!
Miss Rylee is a mover and a shaker! She likes to Wiggle around, and has even given me one (maybe two) big noticeable kicks (or Punches.)
Our home has been invaded by Tiny Pink Clothes, and we have started stocking up on things like Diapers and Wipes... Buying misc sizes now, a box of newborn and so far a package of two's, will help out in the summer when Matt's hours decrease and therefore, his paychecks decrease, we will have the supplies we need to care for our little angel.
I've recently started a daily 15 minute exercise routine. Today I started Zumba. Previous to receiving the Zumba game for the Wii, I started a Prenatal Yoga DVD, and do a 15 minute routine daily. Now I'll be switching back and forth between Yoga and Zumba...
Cali has really been snuggling up to me more often, and always up against my belly. I love it, but what do I do when my belly becomes to large for her to fit between me and the edge of the couch? haha... she will have to deal. She also has taken to sleeping in our bed. Right along side Tyson, and usually in between Matt's feet.
Good night for tonight!!

I've been a little lazy!!
Hello All!! I'm sorry I've been a little lazy... We are almost 20 weeks!! Half way through! I can't believe it!! Tomorrow is our Anatomy Scan. I can't wait to see baby again!! Maybe we will even get to see if He is Riley, or if She is Rylee!!
I can (sometimes) feel Baby move. He/She was actually doing summer-salts in there this morning... but I can't always feel it! I can't wait until I can feel him/her everyday! The downside... my sleep has been disturbed by the heaviness in my belly. You wouldn't think at this stage, that there would be a problem with that, especially because I have not yet gained a single pound. My next Dr. Apt (not for a scan) is the 26th, so maybe I will have gained something by then!!
My Belly is GROWING!! Not to the extent I thought it would but still- Growing!! My skin has been my biggest problem. My Psoriasis has been the worst it ever has been, and it looks like my arms are covered in heat rash. Its driving me BONKERS!!
<3 Posting Pictures Soon!!
